I am an individual who works in some capacity close to the New York State Legislature and it was vitally useful to aggregate information relevant to work in order to keep myself informed. To that end, I started the leggregator Twitter in March of 2017 and started this blog to accompany it in August of 2017.
As a quick disclaimer, I do not share information I have heard about in my professional capacity in any way as that would be against my personal ethics and against basic professional trust. Rather, I will share what others have reported or heard. Additionally, since I prefer to remain anonymous in this capacity, any information I would share would fail to meet any sort of test of credibility for an unnamed source, so it also serves as a quality control measure. Many times, this information is superior to what I’ve heard anyway or largely the same – so you can be sure you’re hearing only the best information available.
